6-7 May: UNCRPD training for policy practitioners, Disability and Non-Discrimination in the European Union

The Academy of European Law is launching their second UNCRPD training for policy practitioners on 6-7 May 2019 in Trier, in English and International Sign language (simultaneous interpretation) with captioning, live streamed.


This training will discuss the equal participation of persons with disabilities in society and their access to information. Participants will learn about the EU action and legal framework adopted with a view to improving access for persons with disabilities in society.

Terms & conditions of participation

  • No seminar fee.
  • The participants’ travel costs will be reimbursed up to 360 euros.
  • Two hotel nights will be booked and paid directly by ERA.

Who should attend?

Participation is only open to national civil servants and staff of NGOs, DPOs and equality bodies from an EU Member State, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
