Our committees and expert groups

Until April 2008 EDF had 8 committees to provide assistance and advice on specific policy areas that were particularly relevant for disabled people, and therefore were also a work priority for the organisation.

EDF Board in Brussels in April 2008 took a decision to revise the EDF Committees structure. The purpose of the new structure is to work in a more flexible and proactive way in order to better answer the needs of EDF. As a result two target group committees, two task forces, an advisory group on persons with complex dependency needs and five email groups were established.
