Our statutes

The European Disability Forum is an international non-profit organisation established in 1996 and recognised under Belgian law.

In May 2004, a new EDF Constitution was adopted by the Annual General Assembly. The new Constitution is designed to meet the challenges of the EU enlargement and has considerable implications in the functioning and composition of EDF governing bodies and on membership rules. EDF Statutes have been reviewed by the General Assembly respectely on 05.10.2007 and 28.10.2011. The last version was adopted on 28.11.2011 in Budapest.
