Webinar on Passengers' Rights, 22 April 09:00-10:00 CEST

Your rights as a passenger, especially as a passenger with disabilities, are protected by EU law. Five Regulations on different transport modes (air, rail, long-distance bus, and maritime and inland waterways) were created between 2006 and 2011 and they are either already being revised, as it is the case for rail, or are soon coming up for evaluation. But of course those laws are not perfect. There are still gaps, as for example the many cases of “denied boarding” in air travel prove. There are also problems with the application of the law in the different Member States and how they work in practice.

In this webinar we want to give you an update about where we stand for each Regulation, give you a summary of EDF’s position on each of them, and prepare you to give input to the Commission to ensure the best possible result for the evaluation to close those gaps and improve the application of the law. No previous knowledge of the subject is required, everybody is welcome!
