Haydn Hammersley's Biography

Joined us in 2018.

Haydn is responsible for working on EU Cohesion Policy and Structural and Investment Funds, the European Pillar of Social Rights, the European Semester, deinstitutionalisation and community-based care, employment, education, social protection, and disability assessment. He also coordinates our work on the European Disability Strategy 2010-2020 and the post-2020 Strategy.

Background

Haydn worked for three years at Autism-Europe, and spent time working for a Member of the European Parliament, as a trainee at the European Commission and for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He also worked for several years as a care worker and assistant to adults on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities.
