How do EDF members campaign?

On this page you will find the ways in which out member organisations campaign for the implementation of the UN CRPD. The links will open in a new window.

Lists of Issues (LOIs) are issues reported to country governments by the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Our members produce their own reports, and/or answers to LOIs.


Autism Europe


The European Blind Union (EBU)

  • Report on Political Participation Rights of Blind and Partially-Sighted People in Europe
  • Report on how to implement the UN CRPD through articles 33 and 35.
  • EBU UNCRPD legislative database provides information on specific legislation relevant to blind and partially sighted people in Europe. It is intended to enable EBU member organisations to record the extent to which their country's legislation provides the rights contained in the Convention. The database builds upon a set of articles statements developed by EBU that define the needs and characteristics of blind and partially sighted people in relation to the relevant UN CRPD articles. Statements have been prepared for 16 articles.

  • Publication on the deaf perspective on the UN CRPD implementation in Europe focused on Article 29 concerning 'Participation in Political and Public Life'
