  • Accessible Airport Award applications are now open!

    30.01.2020 For the fifth year we have launched the Accessible Airport Award in cooperation with Airport Council International Europe (ACI-Europe). The award is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding signed with ACI-Europe in 2016, and celebrates airports in Europe that have achieved high level of accessibility as well as range and the quality of the assistance services to persons with disabilities.   • EU Disability Strategy: Members of the European Parliament debate draft resolution

    28.01.2020 After a new disability strategy post-2020 was confirmed by Commissioner Helena Dalli on the 16 January this year, Members of the European Parliament’s Employment and Social Affairs Committee debated a proposed draft resolution on this strategy on the 23rd of January. We express our deepest condolences to the friends and families of the people who lost their lives and a fast recovery and strong support to those injured.     16.01.2020 Today, Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli confirmed that the European Commission is committed to present a strengthened European Disability Strategy post 2020. This commitment was presented during a speech on the conference “Towards Inclusion 2020”. It is also present in the Communication “ A strong social Europe for just transitions” released on the 14 January 2020.
