  • Training: DARE project

    08.11.2019 Last week our Vice-President Pat Clarke and new colleague Aoife Price participated in a European-wide training event at the National University of Ireland, Galway as part of the DARE project (Disability Advocacy and Research in Europe). The DARE project is a follow up to the DREAM project, and is a European-wide training network for early-stage researchers in the field of disability rights.     21.10.2019 The EU Disability Card is a pilot project managed by the European Commission in 8 EU countries. It aims to develop a card that is recognised accross borders and gives access to benefits mainly in the areas of culture, leisure, sport and transport. As the pilot project comes to an end, the European Disability Forum aims to gather the experiences of those who have the Card, but also of persons with disabilities that would like to get the card in their countries.
