Vanessa James' Biography

Vanessa is a communications and digital content specialist many years of experience in communication coordination of international and EU-funded projects. At the European Disability Forum, Vanessa supports advocacy work and external communication activities such as communications strategies and dissemination campaigns, and media relationships, among other communications tasks.
Background
Vanessa’s first steps in communications started as a radio host for a local radio station. Throughout their career, Vanessa’s work focused on communicating about health, education, and social issues, hand in hand with health professionals, researchers, teachers, and public organisations, helping them to translate complex information and share them with a wider audience.
