Álvaro Couceiro's Biography
Joined us in 2022.
Álvaro Couceiro focuses on EU policies related to employment and social protection for persons with disabilities, cost-of-living, the Disability Employment Package and the EU Disability Card. He is also developing a research on reasonable accommodation, assistive technologies and digital skills related to employment for persons with disabilities in the EU.
Background
Prior to this position, Álvaro worked for the International Relations Direction of the ONCE Social Group as the International Strategic Planning Officer, and before that as a public affairs and EU funding consultant for social and disability-related organisations. He is currently developing his PhD research in EU Social Policy.
