Background:

Ciara is a digital communication professional whose experience has branched from an early passion and education in film and media. During her studies in Scotland, she coordinated a film festival, beginning her hands-on experience in communications and event management. She has since relocated twice more: first to the Netherlands to pursue further education in digital media, and then to Brussels to gain expertise in communication, dissemination and campaigning in the context of EU-funded projects relating to sustainability, before joining EDF in November 2023.

Health, sustainability, and social issues, and the ways they intersect, have formed the basis of Ciara’s experience. At EDF, her main role will be to work on the Disability Rights in the European Elections (DREE) project as well as the 2024 European Elections campaign.
