Agnes Kojc Biography

I come from Maribor, Slovenia. I was born with cerebral palsy, and because of that, I’m physically impaired (I use a wheelchair and the help of my assistants when moving or walking).

In 2022, I graduated from the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor; I have a degree in English translation and interpreting. I work as a freelance writer, language editor and translator.

My focus areas of advocating for the disabled are employment opportunities and social equality. I am a member of CP-ECA, The Slovenian Association of Disabled Students and Sonček – The Cerebral Palsy Association of Slovenia.

I am also an enthusiastic writer, avid reader and poet in my free time.
