In 2024 we celebrated the big success of having an EU law on the European Disability Card and the Parking Card approved and adopted. But our work does not stop here. In this event, we will address the following questions:
- What does the final text of the law on the European Disability Card actually say?
- What are the concrete benefits that the Cards can bring?
- What is next for countries to start issuing and accepting the Cards?
- How can we ensure that the law is applied ambitiously in all EU countries?
- What else will or can happen on EU level?
Together we will explore how we can get the most out of this new law to benefit persons with disabilities.
The target audience are EDF members and their members, other national and EU level Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), individuals with disabilities and their supporters, as well as national, regional, or local implementing authorities.
