Training on how to use the CRPD Committee’s concluding observations on the EU for advocacy . 27 May 2025
from 2 pm to 4 pm

Online

The UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities recently released its Concluding Observations on the European Union. These offer a long-awaited assessment of how well the EU, a State Party to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, is doing in protecting disability rights and what it must improve.

However, this assessment is of course only useful if it results in real changes and improvements for persons with disabilities.

This is why EDF is offering a training session explaining exactly how the Concluding Observations can be used to advocate for policy change. We will explore how they can be used to impact EU policy, as well as policies at national level in the EU Member States.

Join us on the 27th of May for what will be a very practical session aimed at assisting you in your advocacy work.

You can register for the training here.
