This year’s European Accessibility Summit is set to happen on 17 November – in Brussels and online.
Organised by the European Disability Forum with the support of Microsoft, the Summit aims to bring together policy makers, industry, accessibility experts, and the disability movement to discuss the most critical topics related to accessibility in the EU right now.
On the menu for this year’s summit:
- the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and in particular the role of regulators, and supporting bodies like accessibility agencies.
- Media accessibility, in light of the revision of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive,
- Electronic communications accessibility, relevant in the context of the Digital Networks Act (DNA).
- Artificial Intelligence
- Accessible technology updates
