A capacity-building event based on the KEEP DRIVEN Guidelines
The European Disability Forum (EDF) is pleased to invite representatives of NGOs, youth organisations, youth workers and other practitioners working—or planning to work—with young people with disabilities to the online event Making Participation Inclusive: Practical Approaches for Engaging Young People with Disabilities in Public Life.
Taking place on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, from 14:00 to 16:30 CEST (Brussels time), the event is organised as part of the KEEP DRIVEN Erasmus+ project.
Drawing on the project’s newly published Guidelines for Facilitating the Participation of Young People with Disabilities in Public Life, the event will combine practical recommendations with expert perspectives, lived experience and opportunities for peer exchange.
Highlights include:
- Top tips shared by inclusion practitioners and young people with disabilities
- Interactive breakout sessions focused on real-life challenges and practical solutions
- Exchange of experiences with participants from across Europe
The event will be joined by project partners—CBM Italia (Italy), SUSTENTO (Latvia), LEDHA (Italy) and APF France —who will share their expertise.
