EDF to Showcase ACT4DYS Resources for More Inclusive and Sustainable Cities

The European Disability Forum (EDF) will bring the ACT4DYS project to the American University in Brussels on 30 November 2026 for a final dissemination event highlighting practical ways to involve young people, particularly young people with disabilities, in shaping more inclusive and sustainable cities.

The event will bring together at least 25 participants, including students, faculty members and university staff, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the project, its objectives and key outputs, while discovering practical tools for engaging young people in urban development processes.

Participants will have the chance to explore the rich collection of resources developed through ACT4DYS, including a simulation-based training package, an e-Portfolio featuring case studies and examples of good practice, and an e-learning platform with interactive mini-games. These resources aim to help young people develop the knowledge and skills needed to take an active role in shaping the cities and communities in which they live.

The session will be highly interactive, with participants invited to test the mini-games and share their feedback, thus contributing to the project’s efforts to make its learning resources engaging and useful for young people.

The event will also feature a brief introduction to the European Disability Forum, its work and internship opportunities, building on the long-standing collaboration between EDF and the American University in Brussels.

This is an invitation only event.
