Andreas Reinalter is the Head of the Unit for Disability Rights and Fundamental Issues, European Union and International Disability Affairs at the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection in Vienna. With his colleagues he is representing the Austrian Federal UNCRPD Focal Point and he coordinates the implementation of UNCRPD in Austria. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Group for the National Action Plan on Disability and a member of the national Advisory Council for Building Culture at the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport. In addition, he represents Austria in the EU Disability High Level Group in Brussels. Andreas Reinalter holds a master in law (Magister iuris) from the University of Innsbruck, Austria.
