The European Disability Forum (EDF) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced service providers to carry out an accessibility audit of MinnaLearn platform (www.minnalearn.com) and its related course “Elements of AI for Business”.

Audit Scope

In 2025 EDF will be implementing a new project “Empowered by AI” in partnership with MinnaLearn, a capacity building project which aims to ensure that people with disabilities in Europe develop AI literacy skills.  

MinnaLearn created a series of online courses about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our goal is to make the MinnaLearn platform and the “Elements of AI for Business” course accessible for everyone.  

Requirement 

• The service provider must have an accessibility expertise and an excellent knowledge of current trends in digital accessibility and offline resources
• The audit should be based on EN301549 (the harmonized European Standard for ICT Accessibility) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 requirements 
• Available to work from the middle of January to end of February 2025 (To be determined) 
• Capable of working and communicating efficiently in English  
• Flexible to answer EDF’s questions after the audit   
• Able to provide an invoice   
• Preferably located in Europe 

The successful provider should audit: 

1. Technical and user interface 

• The MinnaLearn platform including the front-facing website and the courses page (example: UX, content, graphics, titles, links, functional controls etc)  
• The MinnaLearn platform trainer view  (Log-in area) 
• The MinnaLearn platform AI laboratory view

2. Content 

• 4 chapters of the Elements of AI course, approximately 80 pages A4  
• One Miro board containing exercises for one kick-off meeting (1 hour) and three workshops (2,5 hours per workshop) 
• Email messaging on the MinnaLearn platform  

The result of the audit should provide:

• A detailed accessibility report of the platform with the examples of the issues and a list of recommended actions to make the platform accessible 
• An overview of the accessibility of the content and a list of recommended actions to make the content accessible  
• Costs estimation for these adaptations.  

Timeline

• Deadline for application: 24 January 2025 at 23:59 Central European Time Zone (CET) 
• Response to application: end of January 2025 
• Selected applicant is expected to take on the assignment ​as soon as possible​ 
• We expect delivery within 1 month (To be determined)
