Call for tenders: external financial audit of 2025 finances

EDF is inviting tenders for the external financial audit of our 2025 finances.
Audit Details
- Location: Audits to be conducted at EDF office in Brussels, Belgium.
- Period of Performance: Audit activities are to be carried out In February and March 2026.
- Reporting Deadline: The auditor’s final report is due by 28 February for the European Commissioner CERV audit, and 31 March for the financial statement (Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement).
Auditor Requirements
- A proven track record of at least 5 years in auditing EU funded programmes, including Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values
- Fluency in English and adherence to IFAC standards are mandatory.
- Independent from EDF, with stringent observance of ethical standards in line with IFAC’s code.
- Good communication with EDF staff.
Audit Scope
The appointed auditor will be tasked with verifying EDFs financial report to the EU under the CERV programme and EDFs overall financial report, ensuring the accurate reflection of expenditures and compliance with the terms of EU and other Grant Contract and that the accounts reflect a fair an accurate view of the organisations financial position.

Selection Basis
Bids will be evaluated on technical expertise, auditor qualifications, adherence to the tender’s requirements, and the proposed cost.
