EDF is inviting tenders for the external financial audit of our 2024 finances.

Audit Details:

• The organisation: The European Disability Forum (EDF) is legal status, possibly size in terms of turnover and staff.
• Location: Audits to be conducted online with a preliminary meeting at EDF office in Brussels, Belgium.
• Period of Performance: Audit activities are to be carried out between 1 February 2025 and 20^thFebruary 2025
• Accounting period to be audited: 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 with possibility of extension to 3 consecutive years
• Reporting Deadline: The auditor’s final report is due by 25 February 2025

Auditor Requirements:

• A proven track record of at least 5 years in auditing EU funded programmes, including Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values
• Fluency in English and adherence to IFAC standards are mandatory.
• Independent from EDF, with stringent observance of ethical standards in line with IFAC’s code.

Audit Scope:

The appointed auditor will be tasked with verifying EDF’s financial statements balance sheet and Profit and Loss account and the financial report to the EU under CERV, ensuring the accurate reflection of income and expenditure in compliance with the Belgian Companies and Associations Code and the terms of the EU Grant and other contracts.

• Proposals should be submitted in English and include a detailed bid, auditor credentials, and a firm quotation.

Selection Basis:

Bids will be evaluated on technical expertise, auditor qualifications, adherence to the tender’s requirements, and the proposed cost. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
