Call for tenders – pool of experts: International Sign interpreters
The European Disability Forum (EDF) is looking for qualified and experienced sign interpreters to integrate its provider list for 2026.
Practical information
The European Disability Forum hosts around 20 to 30 online events a year, and 5 in-person events. These events require international sign interpretation.
To comply with the requirements of funding, the Forum is creating a provider list to contact for its events in 2026. The list will ensure that the selection of the provider for each event follows clear guidelines.
The successful provider should
- Be an experienced International Sign interpreter (accreditation desirable but not necessary).
- Have experience in interpreting live events for a wide audience.
- Have a clear understanding of disability rights terminology.
Proposal and deadline
We are inviting qualified individuals and companies to apply to our list of providers by sending:
- Hourly and daily rate for sign interpretation (both in-person and online) – please indicate if you can only provide one of the options.
- Terms and conditions, including cancellation conditions and extra fees for image rights, intellectual property or others.
- Proof of experience if you have not collaborated with the European Disability Forum before. This can include accreditation to WASLI or references of previous work;
Deadline: 15 December
All documents should be sent to: andre.felix@edf-feph.org
