Consultant for Digital communications and design

Background

The European Disability Forum (EDF) is seeking a qualified consultant on an interim basis to support the implementation of its communication activities.

Objectives

  • Draft and schedule the weekly newsletter to members.
  • Draft and schedule the monthly external newsletter.
  • Design visual assets for social media, including short videos.
  • Support in production and design of EDF’s publications and communication materials.

Scope of Work

  • Availability of 2–3 days per week, on a flexible schedule.
  • Mandatory availability on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings to finalise the weekly newsletter.
  • Work will be carried out in close coordination with the EDF Communications Manager.
  • The consultancy is ongoing and temporary, replacing a staff member.

Timelines

  • Contract will be renewed on a monthly basis, with expectation to finish in September/October 2026.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong working proficiency in Mailchimp, Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital communication and social media management.
  • Good track record of working with external service providers, including design agencies.
  • Knowledge of accessible communications.
