EDF is hiring a short-term consultant for its Ukraine program

Short term consultancy

In the context of our response to the Ukrainian refugee crisis, EDF is undertaking a programme to defend the rights of Ukrainian refugee children with disabilities.  To support this programme, EDF is hiring a short-term consultant who will provide 25 days’ work between 1 July and 15 September, 2022.

Terms of reference

In cooperation with the EDF team and partners in Ukraine, Poland and across Europe, the consultant will:

  • Co-design and implement a Europe-wide mapping of Ukrainian children evacuated abroad from residential institutions
  • Contribute to research and evidence-gathering on birth, extended and foster families who have evacuated abroad together with children with disabilities
  • Co-author three short documents: a monitoring report on children in institutions; a report on foster family care for Ukrainian refugee children with disabilities; a report on refugee children with disabilities and their families.
