IAAP EU and the European Disability Forum (EDF) are hosting an onsite workshop by invitation only on the 23 September followed by a public hybrid event on the 24 September 2024 to celebrate the Web Accessibility Directive Fourth Anniversary.

The full-day workshop is a continuation of work initiated at the IAAP EU Paris event in April. That workshop resulted in a working group dedicated to create a supporting document to facilitate interpretation and testing.

Welcome to a hybrid event where accessibility experts, end user representatives, public and private sectors, researchers, monitoring agencies, policy makers and other stakeholders from across the EU meet to share knowledge, be inspired and support each other.
The focus is on the Web Accessibility Directive, but the topics discussed go beyond mere legislation and include best practices, methods, tools and solutions to improve digital accessibility for all. The agenda include presentations, panel discussions and Q&A from the audience, and topic facilitators will present results from interactive workshops carried out before the event.
The event will be moderated by Susanna Laurin, G3ict and IAAP Representative to the EU.
