Rights delayed: Air travel for passengers with disabilities

The European Disability Forum launches the 9th Human Rights Report on air travel for persons with disabilities. In this online event, we will present the main findings of the report, including:

  • The main barriers to air transport for persons with disabilities.
  • The gaps in applicable EU legislation.
  • The implementation EU legislation by Airlines, Airports and National Enforcement Bodies (NEBs).
  • Good practices improving access to air transport.
  • Recommendations for policymakers and industry.

The presentation of the findings will be followed by a panel discussion between persons with disabilities, accessibility experts, airlines and public authorities.
