Young LGBTQI+ and disability: is the LGBTQI+ movement really accessible for all? 10th December 2024

Young LGBTQI+ and disability: is the LGBTQI+ movement really accessible for all? 10th December 2024
from2 pm to 4 pm

Online. Zoom

Young LGBTQI+ are often facing difficulties in getting into the movement whether it is the disability movement or the LGBTQI+ movement. Why? How can we ensure that our movements are more welcoming, what are the things to improve, which are the life sectors where these young people are facing discrimination and are excluded? The European Disability Forum and the International Disability Alliance have produced some recommendations to improve our movements which will be unveiled during the event, then we pass the word to those concerned. A representative of IGLYO the Young LGBTQI+ European Organisation and some young LGBTQI+ young people will share their stories and insights.
