Kave Noori's Biography
Joined us in 2023.
As Artificial Intelligence Policy Officer at EDF, Kave will advocate for EDF positions and he will be working on awareness raising and capacity building. In doing so, Kave will focus on training our member organizations, both adult and youth organisations.
Background
Kave joined his first association when he was about 13-14 years old.This became the start of his interest and fascination for law, especially EU law. Since then, he has been actively involved in many organizations, including student organizations, disability organizations, a straight edge organization, and even an organization for people who play with fire in an artistic way. Kave currently, is a board member of the International Federation of Hard of Hearing Young People (IFHOHYP).
- Administrative law in Sweden, including EU law.
- Course on data protection and legal aspects of artificial intelligence (AI). As part of the AI course, he wrote a mini-thesis on assistive technologies 2021.
For the past two years Kave have worked part time for the Swedish Association of the Deaf, advocating for access to sign language interpreters.
He love technology and I also run my own business assisting small businesses and non-profit organizations with privacy law and providing them with IT- support. He also writes news articles once a week for the Swedish Data Protection Forum, a professional association for data protection experts.
