The Members of the European Parliament (EP) are gathered in political groups. Those groups are organised by political affiliation but not by nationality. There are currently 8 political groups in the EP.
Intergroups are not official Parliament bodies but are recognised by Parliament. They are created by agreement between the chairs of the political groups at the beginning of each legislative term. Intergroups are a forum for informal exchanges of views on specific issues across different political groups and for contact between Members and civil society. Each is composed of Members from at least 3political groups.
For the 2024-2029 European Parliamentary term, the Disability Intergroup counts 72 Members from 23 countries and 7 Political Groups (and Non-Attached Members). You can find who those Members are on this page.
