The Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technologies in Europe (AAATE)  is an interdisciplinary pan-European organisation concerned with all aspects of assistive technology, including its use, research, development, manufacturing, supply, and provision. It promotes research and development, facilitates knowledge exchange and collaboration, disseminates accurate information, raises awareness among stakeholders (including policymakers), and supports the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, particularly in relation to assistive technology, accessibility, and universal design.
