Biography

Foteini Zafeiropoulou Biography

Foteini Zafeiropoulou was born in Thessaloniki (Greece). She holds a bachelor degree in English Literature and a post-graduate on persons’ with Autism training. Foteini has been a disability-rights advocate for the full inclusion of persons with autism in particular and all persons with disabilities in general in society at every level. From 2008 until now she is Member of the Executive Secretariat of the National Confederation of Disabled People of Greece (NCDP). After the elections of the 2021, she is responsible for the international relations of the NCDP. Moreover, she has been the Vice President of the Panhellenic Federation of Associations of Parents and Guardians of Disabled People (POSGArneA) from 2011 till 2019 and since then General Secretary of it. Also, she has been the Vice-President of the Greek Society  for  the  Protection  of Autistic Persons from 2014 until now and the President of the Thessaloniki Department of the Greek Society for the Protection of Autistic Persons for the last 20 years. From 2017 till today she has been a member of the EDF’s Social Policy and Inclusion Committee and a member of the EDF’s Women’s Committee.
