Xan Koster Biography

Xan is a disability rights advocate and policy advisor with extensive experience in the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with disabilities (UN CRPD).

They have many years of experience in human rights advocacy, policy development, training, stakeholder engagement and the meaningful participation of persons with disabilities. They have particular expertise in the rights of women with disabilities, intersectional discrimination, legal capacity, and international human rights monitoring mechanisms. They are working with government ministries, civil society organisations and UN treaty bodies.

From 2021, Xan is working as policy advisor for Ieder(in).
