Ongoing Strengthening resilience of older persons and persons with disabilities during COVID-19 and future disasters (CovidResilience, RESOPP)

CovidResilience project aims to contribute to strengthened resilience of older persons and persons with disabilities in the Western Balkans during Covid-19 and future disasters. The beneficiaries of this project are older persons, persons with disabilities, CSOs and grassroots organisations to better cope with the COVID-19 situation in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo.

EDF is designing and delivering two training cycles to representatives of the five national CSO networks, contributing to the development and dissemination of public policy proposals.

News:

EDF and AGE Platform have organized a series of trainings on engaging with policymakers to advocate for change in Belgrade, Serbia in January 2023 and in Brussels, September 2023. EDF presentation focused on how we can strengthening advocacy networks for long-term care. EDF also presented its work on deinstitutionalisation, long-term care and the rights of older persons with disabilities.
