In August 2021, EDF submitted a position paper as part of a European Commission consultation. In our position paper, we call for the extension of the current EU Taxonomy Regulation – to date limited to the environmental aspects of economic activity – to also include social and governance aspects.
The current Environmental Taxonomy, once fully implemented, will be a key asset to attract and incentivise investments into economic activities that support our common climate and environmental objectives.
