European Human Rights Report 2020: Poverty and Social Exclusion

The fourth issue of our annual European Human Rights report Series looks at the true extent of how poverty and social exclusion affect persons with disabilities in the EU. It highlights that EU countries have largely failed at reducing poverty faced by persons with disabilities. It shows how, in all EU countries, persons with disabilities are more likely to be poor and unemployed than persons without disabilities.

It presents actions that the EU, it’s Member States and other European Countries should take to improve the situation.
