This rapid research on behalf of Viatores Christi, as part of the VIVID-T EU Project, explores and reports on perceptions, opportunities, and challenges of online volunteering for humanitarian aid, as well as asks how persons with disabilities and other groups traditionally excluded from humanitarian aid can engage in online volunteering. It indicates compelling potential for online volunteering to strengthen the European Union’s capacity to provide needs-based humanitarian responses as well as provide avenues for inclusive humanitarian aid.
