Stories without boundaries from Slovenia

Stories without boundaries from Slovenia

Our Slovenian member, the National Council of Disability Organisations of Slovenia (NSIOS), is leading a European project called “Slovenia-Wide Awareness Campaign on the Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities”.

A highlight of the project is a photo exhibition by renowned photographer Primož Lavre, who captured the lives of 25 persons with different disabilities across the country. Previously, Lavre created the acclaimed “Mothers Like Any Other” exhibition and received a UNICEF award for his work in Albania.

The exhibition, “Living Fully: Stories Without Boundaries”, aims to show that persons with disabilities lead rich, fulfilling lives as athletes, artists, professors, entrepreneurs, and more. It encourages understanding and inclusion by highlighting their passions and achievements.
