Our side-events at the CoSP13

EDF will be hosting two online side-events during the CoSP13 which is an excellent opportunity to discuss the current CoSP topics in details and other critical issues related to persons with disabilities with participants.

Our first event this year will be `Building on the Bridging the Gap experience: strengthening policies and practices for inclusion and leaving no one behind´, a debate on the contribution of the EU-funded project Bridging the Gap to the implementation of the SDGs, gathering around the same roundtable high-level representatives from the United Nations, the participating countries and organisations of persons with disabilities. The event will take place online on Tuesday, 1st of December, 4:00-5:15 PM (CET).

Our other event is `Inclusion Counts: data-driven advocacy for implementation of the CRPD´ will discuss the role of Organisations of Persons with Disabilities in developing effective data-driven advocacy strategies to influence policy. Specifically, it will show how the ‘Innovation to Inclusion’ (i2i) project has worked on Articles 27 and 28 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), which address Employment and Social Protection, and how the project has pivoted to address the COVID crisis. This event will take place online on Friday, 4th of December, 2:30 PM – 3:45PM Central European Time (CET)
