We are pleased to share that our President, Ioannis Vardkastanis, was invited to participate in the plenary of the Conference on the Future of Europe. He will be part of the delegation of the Civil Society Convention on the Future of Europe. This will ensure that the disability issues are taken into account during the Conference.
The next meeting of the plenary, where our President will speak for 1 minute, will take place on the 19 June. You can watch the meeting here.
The Conference is a European Union’s initiative to collect the views and opinions of EU citizens regarding the future of Europe. The plenary is responsible for collecting ideas coming from two other initiatives: the Citizen’s Panels and the multilingual digital platform. The plenary will then shape the outcomes and present them to EU leaders.
