Background

• Bachelor in Civic Activities and Youth Work, HUMAK University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

Liisa previously served as an intern and later as the Secretary General of the European Union of the Deaf Youth (EUDY) in Brussels for over 7 years. Additionally, she completed a traineeship at the Secretariat of the Socialists & Democrats Group in the EU Parliament.

Furthermore, Liisa has actively participated in numerous civic activities, holding roles such as a board member in deaf organisations, a youth committee member at the EDF, and contributing to various national or European-level projects focused on empowerment or inclusion.
