We wanted to discover more Kristijan’s interests in the movement and his plans during this mandate.

What areas would you like to focus on?

I am going to focus on mainstreaming mental health in EDF policies, with special emphasis on advocacy for rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities and combat against mental health related stigma. Also, I would focus on the mental health of people with other forms of disabilities.

What are your plans for your mandate?

I am planning to actively support the work of the EDF and contribute with my experience in relation to human rights and mental health.

Thank you very much Kristijan, for sure we have seen that Mental Health is crutial for all of us, but specifically when we have a disability the barriers we are facing makes us more likely to face mental Health issues. So I am sure your role is capital and I wish you a lot of success in your mandate!
