Call for tenders: Graphic designers for EDF projects
The European Disability Forum (EDF) is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced graphic designer based in the EU to collaborate on our communication projects throughout the year.
Practical information about the projects:
- Three different reports: our Annual Report 2023 (40 pages aprox.), the Human Rights Report (60 pages aprox.) and Your Rights in the EU report (40 pages aprox.)
- The reports may vary in length, but it is estimated 140 pages in total.
- The reports may include maps, illustrations, images, charts and/or infographics. You can check examples of past reports at the end of this news item.
- In addition to reports, we will ask design of 2 accessible infographics (size 2 A4 pages each).
The successful provider should:
- Design separate cover page with braille markers and QR code for printing.
- Design all the graphic part of the reports that may include maps, illustrations, images, charts and/or infographics.
- Print-ready version and accessible PDF.
- Accessibility check by a third party.
- 3 rounds of review of the final deliverables.
- Providing creative input, designing materials, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of accessibility.
The selected designer will be working closely with the EDF communication team.
Timeline:
- To be discussed. The reports will happen at different phases throughout the year.
- Each project should be completed within a month of first delivery of content.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in accessible design principles and techniques, with a focus on digital accessibility.
- Should be registered in a European Union country.
- Capacity to deliver high-quality design solutions within defined timelines and project constraints, while adhering to EDF’s brand guidelines and values.
