Call for tenders: Printing service provider for EDF communication materials 

The European Disability Forum (EDF) is looking for a printing service provider based in the EU to produce three communication materials throughout the year. 

Practical information about the projects:

  • Three different reports: our Annual Report 2023 (40 pages aprox.), the Human Rights Report (60 pages aprox.) and Your Rights in the EU report (40 pages aprox.). You can check examples of past reports at the end of this news item. 
  • The reports may vary in length, but it is estimated 140 pages in total.  
  • Estimated number of copies: our Annual Report 2023 (100 copies), the Human Rights Report (100 copies) and Your Rights in the EU report (100 copies).
  • Estimated total number of copies: 300.
  • EDF can provide the selected provider with print-ready versions and separate cover pages with braille markers and QR code.

The successful provider should deliver:

  • Printing production of the 3 reports within 3 weeks, including the production of braille embossed finish. 
  • Delivery to the offices in Brussels 
  • Use of eco-friendly printing materials. 

Some specifications for each report:

  • Reports should be done in recycled paper 
  • Cover: 4 pages 
  • Interior  
  • Format – Open: A3 and Closed: A4 
  • Braille + QR code embossing on cover 
  • The selected printing service provider will be involved in three different projects over the course of one year, each focusing on enhancing EDF’s advocacy efforts.  

Timeline:

  • To be discussed. The collaboration will span the entire calendar year.
  • Delivery within 3 weeks of receipt of final materials. 

Requirements

  • Expertise in accessible printing, especially in braille embossed finish.  
  • Should be registered in a European Union country. 
  • Should be available to accommodate project timelines and deliverables as per the agreed-upon schedule.
