Call for tenders - Graphic Designer for 2 infographics on Artificial Intelligence
The European Disability Forum (EDF) is looking for a talented and enthusiastic graphic designer with experience producing clear infographics on complex and dense topics.
Practical information about the infographics
The first infographic is targeted at people with disabilities. It aims to educate people with disabilities about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on their community. It highlights the impact of AI on people with disabilities and encourages active participation in AI advocacy efforts. The infographic is designed to highlight in simple language that persons with disabilities can make an important contribution to the development of AI. The content of the infographic will be provided by the European Disability Forum. The selected provider is only asked to work on the design of the infographic.
The second infographic is targeted at lawmakers and developers of AI systems. Although it t serves to easily communicate why these two target groups should specifically consider the needs of people with disabilities. The content of the infographic will be provided by the European Disability Forum. The selected provider is only asked to work on the design of the infographic.
The successful provider should:
- Work with the text provided by the European Disability Forum with the possibility to shorten it.
- Design all the graphic parts of the infographics that may include various types of illustrations, including images and a QR code.
- Print-ready version, accessible PDF and carousel version (PDF and PNG) for social media dissemination.
- 3 rounds of review of the final deliverables.
- Providing creative input, designing materials, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of accessibility.
The selected designer will be working closely with EDF’s Artificial Intelligence officer and the EDF communication team.
Timeline:
The project has the following milestones:
- 14 April at 6 pm: Deadline to submit quote
- 21 April: Announcement of winner of tender and contract writing
- 29 April: First draft
- 10 May: Delivery of second draft
- 21 May: Final delivery
Budget:
The European Disability Forum has a total budget of 2500 euros (including VAT) to:
- design an accessible digital and ready-to-print version of the 2 infographics
- design HQ images version of the 2 infographics
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in accessible design principles and techniques, with a focus on digital accessibility.
- Capacity to deliver high-quality design solutions within defined timelines and project constraints, while adhering to EDF’s brand guidelines and values.
