The European Disability Forum (EDF) is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced graphic designer based in the EU to collaborate on a new report.
Practical information about the report: timeline and characteristics
- Topic: European Union’s implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD)
- The report may vary in length, but it is estimated 70 pages in total.
- The reports may include illustrations, images, charts and/or infographics.
- Deadline: The final version of the report must be completed by the end of February 2025. Please note that this deadline is non-negotiable, so we are seeking someone who can reliably deliver on time.
The successful provider should:
- Design separate cover page with braille markers and QR code for printing.
- Design all the graphic part of the reports that may include illustrations, images, charts and/or infographics.
- Print-ready version and accessible PDF.
- Accessibility check by a third party.
- 3 rounds of review of the final deliverables.
- Providing creative input, designing materials, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of accessibility.
The selected designer will be working closely with the EDF communication team.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in accessible design principles and techniques, with a focus on digital accessibility.
- Should be registered in a European Union country.
- Capacity to deliver high-quality design solutions within defined timelines and project constraints, while adhering to EDF’s brand guidelines and values.
