This online meeting on International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action will take place on Tuesday, 16th November 2021 as part of the EDF Board meeting.
Background information
In recent years, the European Disability Forum (EDF) has increased its engagement in disability-inclusive international cooperation and humanitarian action. This work is underpinned by the EDF International Cooperation Strategy 2019-2022, and is implemented by a small but growing team within the Secretariat.
This meeting is to prepare for the Global Disability Summit 2022 and follow-up on our work in humanitarian action.
About the meeting
This online meeting will be split into two one-hour sessions, with a 15 minute break.
- The first session will focus on the work in international cooperation by European DPOs, with a follow-up on the upcoming European Regional Disability Summit on International Cooperation as well as the next Global Disability Summit;
- The second session will be a follow-up on our humanitarian action session in Finland, during the board meeting in November 2019. In particular, we will focus on the work of EDF in this field, and how participants can be further involved.

- Disability-inclusive International Cooperation
- Humanitarian Action including refugees with disabilities and climate action
Accessibility
