Call for tenders 2025: Graphic Designer for EDF Gender Mainstreaming Package 

The European Disability Forum (EDF) is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced graphic designer based in the EU to work on the design of our Gender Mainstreaming Package.  

The Gender Mainstreaming Package includes 4 deliverables:  

  1. Guidelines on Gender Action Plan (document of 15 pages aprox.) 
  2. Guidelines on Women’s Committee  (document of 11 pages aprox.) 
  3. Gender Mainstreaming Toolkit Template (document of 17 pages aprox.) 
  4. A short booklet explaining the documents included in the package 

The documents may include maps, illustrations or images. You can check examples of past reports at the end of this call. 

For each of the 4 deliverables, the successful provider should: 

  • Design separate cover page with braille markers and QR code for printing.
  • Design all the graphic part of the reports that may include maps, illustrations, images, charts and/or infographics.   
  • Print-ready version and accessible PDF.  
  • Accessibility check by a third party or a certificate/proof that the document is 100% accessible. 
  • 3 rounds of review of the final deliverables.  
  • Providing creative input, designing materials, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the standards of accessibility for persons with disabilities.  

 The selected designer will be working closely with the EDF communication team, and with the EDF Women’s Rights Officer.  

Timeline:  

  • To be discussed. The deliverables included in the package should be ready by 1st October 2025. 
  • Each deliverable should be completed within a month of first delivery of content.

Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated expertise in accessible design principles and techniques, with a focus on digital accessibility.  
  • Should be registered in a European Union country.  
  • Capacity to deliver high-quality design solutions within defined timelines and project constraints, while adhering to EDF’s brand guidelines and values.
