Membership and credential committee
The Membership and Credentials Committee is the advisory body dealing with issues related to membership.
What is it?
The membership and Credential Committee (MCC) is composed by five Board members, representing full members from both National Councils and European NGOs. It is chaired by the General Secretary of the organisation. It is elected every four years by the General Assemblyat the same time with the Board of Directors.
The Committee meets at least twice per year, in spring and autumn, before the EDF Board meetings.
The Roles and tasks of the Membership and Credentials Committee are:
- provides advice to the Board on membership applications
- supervises the nomination and election procedure of General Assembly delegates
- undertakes the membership review
- decides on requests for changes in membership categories
