National Council- full member The Organisation of Disabled in Iceland
The Disability Alliance of Iceland (ÖBI) is an association of disabled people in Iceland established in 1961. The community consists of 43 member organisations of disabled people, individuals with chronic illnesses and their relatives. The members are the interest groups of different disability groups, all of which operate nationally. Each has expertise in their field and provides a wide range of education and support. Their combined membership is about 30,000 people.
