The YO-IN Journey Towards Inclusion is a practical roadmap designed to help youth organisations strengthen disability inclusion efforts step by step. It is both a flexible improvement tool and a structured pathway towards YO-IN Quality Label Certification.
Organisations can begin with Step 1 and progress through the Journey according to their maturity level, identified through the YO-INclusiometer. Alternatively, they can start with any step that reflects their current priorities, needs, or areas for improvement.
Each step contains practical actions that organisations can adapt to their own context and capacity. Actions are numbered according to the YO-INclusiometer categories and indicators, allowing organisations to easily identify the actions relevant to their assessment results.
Actions shown in bold are required actions linked to the YO-IN Quality Label Certification levels and must be completed to achieve the corresponding level of certification.
